William Anderegg grew up in western Colorado, camping, hiking, and fishing across the southwest. Dr. Anderegg is a professor in the School of Biological Sciences and was the inaugural director of the Wilkes Center for Climate Science and Policy at the University of Utah. He has been recognized by National Science Foundation’s Alan T. Waterman Award, Presidential Early Career Award in Science and Engineering, Blavatnik Foundation National Laureate in Life Sciences, and Packard Foundation Fellow.
