Atim Enyenihi is a PhD chemist with nearly two decades of experience in the life sciences, where she worked to develop therapeutics and diagnostic tests, including one now used to screen Utah newborns for a rare disease. She now serves as Salt Lake City’s Strategic Industry Advisor for Technology and Innovation. A sharp, vinegar-like odor in the home after a new kitchen island installation led her to identify formaldehyde off-gassing and deepen her focus on indoor air quality as a public health concern.
